After making an impressive debut in Tollywood with the ‘Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi’
film, Actor Vishwak Sen has also proved himself as a director with ‘Falaknuma
Das’ 2019. His recent film, ‘Ori Devuda’ has performed well at the box office.
The actor has been chosen by the south’s popular actor Arjun Sarja for his
directorial venture. Action king himself took the responsibility to launch her
daughter Aishwarya Arjun into the Tollywood industry with this film. The movie
launch event was graced by Powerstar Pawan Kalyan in mid 2022. However, the
movie shoot has been halted for now, as the lead actor Vishwak Sen decided to
walk out of the project.
A couple of days back, Arjun revealed to the media that he and his team felt
insulted by Vishwak Sen. He said “Asked him to join the story discussions
multiple times but he never joined. He did not even pick up my calls so many
times. We postponed the shoot two times due to him. I have seen many committed
actors in my life but have never seen anyone who’s so unprofessional as
Vishwak Sen.” He further added, “I’m going to talk with the producers guild
soon. I’m not here to create controversies but I don’t want any director or
producer to suffer like us because of Vishwak Sen in future. That is the only
reason I came in front of the media now.”
Later, Vishwak’s team responded to the allegations by Arjun. They said that
Vishwak has suggested some changes including dialogues, music and songs.
However, Arjun wasn’t ready to accept any changes. They also said that there
was no respect for Vishwak on the sets. The team confirmed that the Actor took
the decision to walk out of the project as there was no respect given to him.
Lately, the actor Vishwak Sen came out to explain the whole story and what
went wrong. At a film’s teaser launch event, Vishwak Sen opened up about the
ongoing controversy that has become talk of the town. Vishwak responded when
an interviewer asked to talk about the issue.
He started with talking about the struggles he faced in his initial days.
“Beginning from Vellipomakey to Ori Devuda and upcoming film Das Ka Dhamki, I
didn’t just played an actor but also involved in other crafts of filmmaking as
well. I even take the responsibility of the promotions till the last moment. I
feel that no one will be as committed and professional as I am because I’ve
completed three films this year. In one of those films, I did as an actor,
director and producer too. The first thing that I wanted to say is that I am a
committed and professional actor and no producer has ever incurred losses or
suffered because of me. Even if a spot boy says that I’m unprofessional, I
will leave the industry. I have always done films that the makers take and
give suggestions to me and vice versa.
Since childhood, I have always liked Arjun’s movies, respected him a lot. Like
any of my films, I assumed that we would work together and we started. I was
given the script just one week before the shoot starts. However, on the shoot
day morning, I texted Arjun sir that we will cancel the shoot today and as I
felt that we need to discuss the story. There was no response from the makers
but later in the afternoon Arjun’s manager texted me to return the
remuneration. I apologize and accept my mistake that I asked to stop the shoot
on the same day morning. But, it would be a bigger mistake if I shoot for few
days and then ask for a break. I agree that I realized it lately, but atleast
I have opened up before the shoot. Its just that I have nerver worked in such
enviroment but it was never my intention to insult you and I am sorry if you
feel that way. My only intention was to make our film better” He concluded.
Vishwak Sen will next be seen in Gaami and Das Ka Dhamki which is directed by
himself. The actor will be making a cameo performance in Mukhachitram and
October 31 Ladies Night.
