Akshay Kumar led “Sooryavanshi” is directed by Rohit Shetty, produced by Hiroo
Yash, Aruna Bhatia, Apoorva Mehta and Rohit Shetty Written by Yunus Sajawal,
while Katrina kaif will play role opposite of Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh’s
83 a sports-based movie on 1983 cricket world cup. Ranveer will play as Kapil
Dev, it is directed by Kabir Khan, produced by Kabir Khan, Vishnu
Vardhan Indur and Deepika Padukone, and the movie is going to be released in
Telugu and Tamil version.
These are two most eagerly awaited movies of the Bollywood, Akshay Kumar’s
Sooryavanshi was to release on 24th of March 2020 and “83” of Ranveer was
scheduled to release on 10th April in theatres, but due to COVID pandemic the
theatres got closed which impact on Bollywood as well on these movies to, so
the producers decided to postpone the release dates of these movies. but
looking to these conditions were the theatres seem to not open, it’s going to
difficult to hold back the release dates of the movie and losing the interest
of the audience in movies led producers to think about the digital (ott)
release of the movies.
But now officially cleared that they have all intentions to go towards the
theatrical route. Makers are not keen on releasing either Akshay Kumar starrer
Sooryavanshi or Ranveer’s 83 on digital platforms. But given the ongoing
scenario, not much is under their hands. We are 100% inclined to take the
theatrical route. However, at the same time, we don’t want to delay the
release date beyond Diwali or Christmas, So the first option is to go
theatrical if cinemas open up and audiences are back “said Shibashish.

Now Reliance Entertainment confirms on twitter that both movies will release
on theatres as they tweeted “we are very confident that ongoing theatrical
exhibition situation will improve much in time for the release of our awaited
films, Sooryavanshi and 83, this Diwali and Christmas, respectively.” “
further added looking forward to celebrating the blockbusters in cinemas with
