Sidharth Malhotra’s most awaited film Shershaah’s teaser out now. On 15th July 2021, the makers dropped an intense and high action-packed teaser on digital platforms. This film is a biographical action war drama based on the life story of Param Vir Chakra Awardee Captain Vikram Batra. In this film, Sidharth Malhotra will be playing a double role. The film was announced in 2019 and wrapped the shoot in 2020. Due to the pandemic, the film’s release date got postponed.
Shershaah teaser is looking action-packed with high-intensity war action scenes. The teaser also has the original footage of the war scenes and some of the real interview footage of the army soldiers from the Kargil war. The teaser features Sidharth in the army officer look. By sharing this footage, the actor wrote the note as “Heroes live on through their stories. We are honoured to bring to you the true story of the Kargil War hero, Captain Vikram Batra (PVC). A film which has had a long journey for me and a real-life character I am proud to play”.

Shershaah is led by Sidharth Malhotra while Kaira Advani plays the leading lady in the film. It is directed by Vishnuvardhan and bankrolled by Karan Johar under the dirham productions. Vishnuvardhan gave many blockbusters hits in the South film Industry and this movies marks his directorial debut in Bollywood. The film will premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on 12th August 2021.
