Akhil Akkineni’s film was announced a few weeks ago, but the shooting is yet to commence. The film is produced by Bunny Vas who produced ‘Geetha Govindam’ which had Rashmika playing the female lead. If the reports are yet to believe the filmmakers are looking to cast a young female lead to star opposite Akhil Akkineni. All the actresses are very busy with their respective films and cannot grant dates for this film starring Akhil Akkineni. Rashmika Mandanna is apparently being considered to star opposite Akhil Akkineni in this film. but she currently has a number of films needing her attention due to which she is unable to join the unit.
There are reports of the female lead’s character being extremely crucial and pivotal to the film’s storyline, something that will be akin to her character in Geetha Govindam. This film is said to be a romantic comedy and an official announcement with respect to the star cast will be made very soon.
As per Sources, Akhil reportedly agreed to do this project after the director convinced him with a strong storyline, which will be an emotional family drama. This is Akhil’s fourth film but still in wait for a box office hit. Akhil’s last release was Mr. Majnu, Nidhhi Agerwal played Akhil’s love interest in the film. The fans would be delighted to see the chemistry between Akhil and Rashmika if they paired together, and this would be something the fans will definitely watch out for.
