It was all started when Sara confessed her admiration and feelings for Kartik during a media interaction at her debut film Kedarnath. soon after Kartik, too began to answer questions related to Sara’s compliments and within no time, fans began to ship the two actors as a couple.
Then at an event, Ranveer Singh played cupid and make them interact with each other and soon after the video of the trio went viral. Sara and Kartik were roped in by Imtiaz for his film Love Aaj Kal 2. The actors shot together for 2 months and wrapped up the shoot on Monday. Taking this to Instagram Sara thanked Imtiaz and said she would miss Kartik more than she can admit.
Sara wrote for Kartik stating, “Thank you @kartikaaryan for instantly making me comfortable with you, for selflessly giving and for consistently looking out for me. From coffee’s about you to chai’s with you, I wish we could do it all over again ☕️ 🧿💓 I’m going to miss you more than you know and more than I can admit 🤭” On which Kartik commented, “And u dont know hw many times i hv read d lines u hv written fr me 😉❤️.”
Soon Ranveer Singh commented, “So cute ! 😍 bhoolna nahi sabse pehle kissne milwaya thha 😂☝🏽 ” (Don’t forget who introduced you to each other)
Kartik shared an equally mushy post for Sara. “And couldn’t have asked for a better saathi in this journey than Princess @saraalikhan95 👑 Want to work with you again and again and again 💓” he wrote.
The film is a sequel to the 2009 film Love Aaj Kal and will hit screens on Valentines’ Day next year 14th Feb 2020.
