India’s biggest blockbuster RRR was also lauded by the critics in the western
countries and all across the globe. Unfortunately, Ram Charan and Jr. NTR
starrer couldn’t get chosen for India’s official entry for the Academy
Awards. However, the makers have made an announcement lately and fans are
unable to control their excitement.
RRR Movie twitter handle has made an announcement that the makers have applied
for nominations in 14 categories. They have thanked all the audiences across
the world who are are still continuing to shower praises on this epic
masterpiece.

- Best Motion Picture
- Best Director
- Best Actor(Ram Charan and Jr.
NTR) - Best supporting actor and actress(Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt)
- Best
original song(Naatu Naatu) - Best original scrore(MM Keeravani)
- Best
original screenplay - Best cinematography
- Best production design
- Best
constume design - Best sound
- Best film editing
- Best makeup and
Hairstyling.
As soon as the news about Oscars submission is out, fans and movie lovers in
India have took to their twitter accounts to share their joy and excitement.
Recently, the director SS Rajamouli attended the screening of RRR at Los
Angeles. He shared a video of thanking the audience for the overwhelming
response. “Your adoration and applause towards my heroes, my film and me were
enormous. THANK YOU USA”, wrote the director.

Earlier, speaking at the Toronto International Film Festival, Rajamouli said
“Never, ever did I expect RRR to do well with the Western audiences. When RRR
released, and I started getting responses one by one, I thought, ‘OK, maybe
there are a few’. But the few went into hundreds, the hundreds went into
thousands… Story writers, directors, critics, people from different fields
were talking highly about RRR. I realised something I never knew about my
films.”
