Zee5 is again coming ahead with another supernatural storyline after announcing the remake of Black Widow, a super hero Finnish creation. This next narrative is “Aafat-e-Ishq”, which is the remake of Liza, The Fox Fairy. Starring the stunning Neha Sharma in the lead, the film revolves around the concept of the failing search for true love but the curse to kill everyone around the lead.
A series of astounding characters and mystery at every inch is worthwhile. Along with which, the end reveals a twisted plot that is said to make the movie more exciting. Directed by Indrajit Nattoji, this Zee 5 original is going to be an amazing thrill to watch. The further cast includes Ila Arun, Namit Das, Gautam Rode and Pravessh Rana.
Revealing the idea for the movie, this is what the programming head Aparna Acharekar had to say! “Post the announcement of Black Widows adaptation by ZEE5, there has been a lot of buzz in the media and fans alike. And now we are back with ‘Aafat-e-Ishq’, based on the highly awarded Hungarian film Liza-The Fox-Fairy, coming soon on the platform. This is an interesting concept, dark humour with a pinch of supernatural, which will be exciting for the audience as well. We have an exciting cast too, featuring in a concept that is quite different from what we have done so far.”
Actor Neha Sharma is quite excited for the role, considering what she quotes “Aafat-e-Ishq is a fresh dark comedy with a hint of supernatural to it which acts as a catalyst throughout the film. I loved the Hungarian version and while I have tried to take as much influence from it, I am still looking at making it my own. I am extremely thrilled about this ZEE5 Original and I am looking forward to my fans reaction to see me in this character. The film has all the elements of fun, love, lust, horror which makes it an intrigue upcoming watch to looking out for. Liza, The Fox Fairy is based on a Hungarian drama that was highly appreciated by people. The comic, tragedy and mystery part of the movie has made it to be a completely unique storyline. To this, Zee 5 original is bringing a hindi version with Neha, which seems to be no lesser!
