Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi’s comment on Pan-India Star Prabhas has sparked controversy. The ‘Circuit’ of Munna Bhai M.B.B.S at a recent interview shared his opinion about Kalki 2898 AD starring Prabhas. He said Prabhas’ character Bhairava looked like a Joker triggering wide spread reactions from fans and Tollywood actors including Nani, Manchu Vishnu.
Nani Slammed Arshad Warsi
Arshad’s comments soon triggered reactions from Prabhas’ fans. Several actors from Tollywood too responded echoing the sentiment of many. Recently, Jersey actor Nani reacted to Arshad’s comment and slammed him during an interview for his upcoming film Saripodhaa Sanivaaram. Nani said, “This must be the most publicity he has got in his life”. He further termed the topic as an ‘unimportant matter’.
Later, Nani said “Definitely, my choice of words was poor. The biggest thing you can do is accept your regret. But what I’m saying is that it sounds worse when translated. One comment can be blown out of proportion. If we slip up, it’s time we take responsibility, whether it’s me or someone else”.
MAA President Manchu Vishnu Reacts To Arshad Warsi’s Comment On Prabhas:
Manchu Vishnu on behalf of MAA(Movie Artistes Association) wrote an open letter to Poonam Dhillon-led CINETAA. He stated that Arshad should refrain from making such belittling comments. He also said that Warsi’s comments had hurt the sentiments of many in the Telugu film Community and fans.

What Arshad Said About Prabhas?
In an interview with Samdish Bhatia, Arshad was asked about the bad movie he recently watched. Arshad replied, “I am really sad. Prabhas was like a joker. I want to see a Mad Max. I want to see Mel Gibson over there. Tumne usko kya bana dia yaar. Kyu karte ho aisa? Mujhe nahin samajh mein aata”.
Kalki 2898 AD directed by Nag Ashwin stars Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani in important roles. The film has received a Blockbuster response earning a 1050 Cr gross at the World box office. It wrapped the box office run and was released on OTT on 22nd August.
