Legendary Actor Krishna passed away on 15 November 2022 at the age of 79.
After suffering from a cardiac arrest, the superstar was taken to a private
hospital. While undergoing treatment, he breathed his last at 4 am on Tuesday.
He was one of the last legends of Telugu Film Industry. Celebs and political
personalities from both Telugu states have paid their last respects to the
Superstar.
Namrata Shirodkar – wife of Mahesh Babu and daughter-in-law of the Krishna has
taken to her Instagram handle to share a video remembering the superstar. She
wrote the caption to the post as ‘An evergreen star, man of many
firsts, a true trendsetter. His insatiable love for cinema made him the
Superstar that he was & will always be. Proud to have known him, to have
called him my father-in-law, to have learnt many of life’s valuable lessons
that I will forever carry with me. To celebrating him and his unparalleled
legacy every day… Love you Mamayya garu ♥️♥️♥️🙏’.
The video featured few popular dialogues of Krishna from his movies. The video
also shows how the actor has became a trendsetter in the Indian film Industry.

Krishna Gattamaneni (1943-2022).”
Earlier, she wrote a letter dedicating to her fans. “Deeply moved by the love
and affection you all have showered on our family. On behalf of the
Ghattamaneni family, I’d like to thank each and everyone who reached out and
checked on us and sent us your prayers and blessings during this time of
grief”- she wrote on her social media profile. Namrata Shirodkar gave up on
acting after marriage with Mahesh Babu. They are parents to son Gautham and
daughter Sitara.
