Tollywood actor Naga Chaitanya is gearing up for his next release. Naga
Chaitanya is playing an honest cop in Custody film directed by Venkat Prabhu.
As part of promotions, the actor visited the Police Academy in Hyderabad on
Sunday. Interacting with them, the actor was challenged to perform the stunts
in real.
The actor was quick enough to say yes and accepted the challenge given by
police personnel. He did some drills along with policemen and also competed in
pushups.
In one of the clips, he is seen dancing with them and also learnt some tips to
handle the gun. He captioned the post “Had a great time interacting with the
department of police at the yousufguda training academy . #custody

The teaser of the film was released on March 21st and received a good response
from the audience. The movie has Aravind Swamy in the antagonist role and
Krithi Shetty as the leading lady. Krithi is teaming up with Chai for the
second time after Bangarraju. Movie also has Priyamani and Sarath Kumar in
important roles.
Director Venkat Prabhu shot ‘Custody’ simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu.
Music is taken care of by Maestro Ilaiyaraaja and Little Maestro Yuvan Shankar
Raja, and SR Kathir for cinematography and editing done by Venkat Raajen. The
movie is produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi. It will hit screens on 12th May.
Chai will also appear in Dootha, an Amazon Prime Series.
