South actress Meera Jasmine penned a heartfelt note about her 2004’s Superhit
movie ‘Gudumba Shankar’ starring Powerstar Pawan Kalyan. The movie is set for
re-release in theatres on the occasion of Pawan Kalyan’s Birthday on 31st
August.
Meera Jasmine Recollects Her Experience With Gudumba Shankar And Acting With Pawan Kalyan:
Meera Jasmine who made her debut in the film industry in 2001 with
Soothradharan in Malayalam has worked in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada languages
as well. Taking to her Instagram handle, Meera shared a series of pictures
with Pawan Kalyan clicked on the sets of Gudumba Shankar.
Meera captioned the post as “As ‘Gudumba Shankar’ re-releases tomorrow after
almost two decades on the occasion of Pawan Kalyan Garu’s birthday, here is
looking back to these priceless memories that I have kept safe in the treasure
trove of my home and heart.
An experience and an encounter that has altered the very core of the artist
and the individual in me and has been instrumental in shaping my journey in
art and in life. His generosity, kindness, empathy, compassion, and futuristic
perspectives on all things that truly matter have always remained as
yardsticks that helped me navigate through all sails and all phases.
It’s an absolute honor to be sharing these core memories that have stayed with
me all along, unaltered amidst all the change of seasons.

Gudumba Shankar is directed by Veera Shankar and stars Pawan Kalyan and Meera
Jasmine in lead roles. Apart from playing the lead role, Pawan also took care
of the movie’s screenplay. Produced by Naga Babu and music composed by Mani
Sharma.
Talking about Meera’s work, she last did a cameo role in Vimanam in Telugu.
Her upcoming films are The Test in Tamil and Queen Elizebeth in Malayalam.
On the other hand, Pawan Kalyan last appeared in Bro: The Avatar. He will be
next seen in Sujeeth Sign’s OG, Hari Hara Veera Mallu directed by Krish
Jagarlamudi and Ustaad Bhagat Singh by Harish Shankar.
