Kangana’s much awaited ‘Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi Teaser is out and Kangana looks no less than the fierce warrior queen, this is going to take the internet by storm. ‘Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi’ is a biopic on ‘Rani Laxmi Bai’ of Jhansi and her war against the British East India Company, during the Indian Rebellion of 1857. The Film is Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, Produced by Zee Studios, co-produced by Kangana, also stars Ankita Lokhande, Sonu Sood, Jisshu Sengupta, Atul Kulkarni, and Zeeshan Ayyub.

The film was in the news recently after Kangana took over the reins from director Krrish to re-shoot a few “patchwork” portions of the film. Sonu Sood has walked out of the film due to his professional commitment towards “Simmba”. However, Kangana hit back at him, claiming he left the movie as he “refused to work under a woman director”. Apart from that, the film Manikarnika set B-town buzzing when the makers of the film picked 25 January 2019 as their release, on the same day Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Super 30’ will be released.
