Sandeep Vanga’s Animal was released in December last year, yet the controversy around the film continues and many slammed the director for allegedly glorifying toxic masculinity and misogyny. Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut who is leaving no stone unturned in promoting his much awaited film Emergency, has once again made strong comments on Ranbir Starrer.
Kangana Ranaut Slams Sandeep Vanga’s Animal
Kangana has bashed commercial hit films which are promoting violence. Without taking the name of the film, Kangana indirectly slammed Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal film during a recent interview as the description was similar to Animal. She mentioned it as a patriarchal film that made huge numbers at the box office. She wondered who are the people encouraging such content where guys are out there with weapons, creating chaos and violence.

Kangana said “Abhi bhi jis Tarah ki filmein aap dekh lijiye. Box office pe kya bawaal machati hain patriarchal filmein. Oh ho ho. I wonder where these people who are clapping and whistling are coming from. Men are out with axes and are indulging in bloodshed and violence. No law and order is stopping them”.
She further added, “Machine guns le ke wo schoolon mein jaate hain. Jaiski ki police hai hi nahi, jaise ki uske consequences hain hi nahi. Law and order toh sara mar hi gaya hai, bataiye.(They are carrying machine guns to schools as if there is no police, law and order, and no consequences.) They are just piling up dead bodies. And why? Just for fun. It’s not for public welfare or the protection of borders. Only for fun. They just take drugs and have fun.”
As the discussion on Animal continues of X platform, a user said that movies are not there to teach you something and further stated that is the biggest achievement of Animal movie as people are still talking about it.
That’s the biggest achievement of Animal that people are still talking about it. Movies are not there to teach you something. Even if it is then in Animal Ranbir’s character suffered the most in the end

Recently, a video has gone viral on the Internet, where a man warned her against the release of film Emergency. The person can be heard saying “History cannot be altered. If Sikhs are depicted as terrorists in the film, remember what happened to the one you’re portraying. We know how to break the finger that points at us. If we can sacrifice our heads, we can also take one”. Kangana has now requested police protection following the threats.
Emergency is scheduled for a worldwide release on 6th September 2024.
