Dhanush’s Father Kasthuri Raja Talks About Nayanthara’s Open Letter, “No time to answer those who talk behind our backs”.

Dhanush’s father and Filmmaker Kasthuri Raja spoke about Nayanthara’s open letter to Dhanush. Ahead of release of her Netflix documentary, ‘Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairy Tale’, Nayanthara took it to social media to call out Dhanush and accused him of not responding to her NOC request to use the footage of ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan'(produced by Dhanush) in it. However, the trailer of the documentary has a 3-second footage from the film, for which Dhanush’s team has claimed a sum of Rs. 10 Cr for Copyright infringement.

Dhanush’s Father Kasthuri Raja About Nayanthara:

As per Times Of India’s Samayam, filmmaker Kasthuri Raja has opened up about the ongoing debate. He said Dhanush is busy with his upcoming projects and don’t have time to answer or react on this matter. He further stated that Nayanthara’s claims of waiting for two years for Dhanush’s approval for using ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’ footage are false.

His statement goes as “Work is important for us. We are running ahead. There is no time to answer those who chase us or those who talk about us behind our backs. Like me, my son is focused only on work”. He said, as per the portal, “As Nayanthara said, waiting for two years is not true information. He said I don’t want to talk about it.”

After Nayanthara’s post, Dhanush’s lawyer issued a statement stating that his client being the producer of ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’, is the rightful ownership of the clip which has been used in the documentary. He urged the opposition party including Nayanthara and Netflix documentary makers to take down the content(belonging to Naanum Rowdy Dhaan) within 24 hours. Failing to do so would result in legal consequences and a claim of Rs 10 Cr.
