The Bollywood diva Bhumi Pednekar who made her debut with the film ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisa’ opposite the versatile actor Ayushmann Khurrana, started shooting of her upcoming horror drama ‘Durgavati’ today.
The movie is the Hindi remake of Telugu Horror film ‘Bhaagamathie’. The actress is playing the role of an IAS officer in the film which was earlier played by Baahubali Fame Anushka Shetty in the original version. The film is directed by G.Ashok and produced by Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, Vikram Malhotra, and Bhushan Kumar.

On this occasion, the actress took to Twitter to make an announcement in which she wrote “With her blessings, we start #Durgavati. Need all your support and love as I start the most special film of my career. @akshaykumar sir I am ready to stand tall and strong.
The actress has given three back to back successful films in 2019 named Saand Ki Aankh, Bala and Pati Patni Aur Woh. In 2020, the actress will be seen in her upcoming movies Bhoot – Part One: The Haunted Ship, Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare and Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan (Special Appearance).
