Anupam Kher starrer ‘The Kasmir Files’ was released in theatres on 11th March
receiving a great response from the audience. The movie is based on one of the
most tragic incidents in Indian History. It showcases the heartwrenching story
of the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits occured in the year 1990s. It’s a directorial
venture of Vivek Agnihotri who earlier made ‘The Tashkent Files’. The movie
also stars Mithun Chakraborty, Pallavi Joshi, Darshan Kumar in important
roles.
Anupam Kher has taken to her Instagram handle to share an emotional message
with his fans and urged everyone to watch the movie. While sharing this video,
he has written the caption as “Today, I’ve ceased to be a mere actor. I’m the
voice and the face of those lakhs of Hindus who endured a genocide in Kashmir.
And ‘Kashmir Files’ is my testimony. The truth about how we were murdered,
raped, dispossessed, expelled and hidden from the public view, through blatant

While the movie is called “Masterpiece” by the audience and reviews and
ratings have been outstanding.
Director Vivek Agnihotri is receiving great appreciation from the audience who
have watched the movie.

calling it a ‘BIGG SURPRISE’. On the other hand, the movie got 10/10 rating on
IMDB.
