Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar’s much-awaited Sooryavanshi is all set to release worldwide on 24th March. It will be Director Rohit Shetty’s fourth film in ‘Shetty’s Police Universe’ after Singham, Singham Returns, and Simmba. Earlier the film was scheduled to be released on March 27th, now it is preponed and will be released 3 days before it. It will be the first movie to be screened 24/7 in all theatres across Mumbai.
Akshay would be seen as DCP Veer Sooryavanshi, the Chief of Anti Terrorism Squad opposite Katrina Kaif as she would be playing Dr. Aditi Sooryavanshi. The film also features Gulshan Grover, Abhimanyu Singh, Niharica Raizada, Jackie Shroff, Sikandar Kher, Nikitin Dheer and Vivan Bhatena in major roles. The project is jointly ventured by Shetty, Karan Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Hiroo Yash Johar, and Apoorva Mehta.
Ajay Devgan as Bajirao Singham, Ranveer Singh as Sangram Simmba Bhalerao will be making cameo appearances. Apart from this, Akshay Kumar is working in Laxmmi Bomb directed by Raghava Lawrence and Prudhviraj directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi.
