The ‘Befikre’ actress Vaani Kapoor is all set to make another stunning
appearance in the upcoming film ‘Bell Bottom’. We will see her sharing the
screen with Akshay Kumar in this movie. The movie trailer has already
created a buzz among the moviegoers. Now, during an interview with the Times
Now Digital, the actress has revealed about the struggle which she faced
during the early days of her career. Also, she speaks about her financial
condition in her initial days.
Vaani Kapoor made her debut in 2013, but she featured in a few films only.
She discloses the reason behind the gap between her films. Talking in the
interview about her early days, she said, “For sure, I have been supporting
myself, I haven’t taken a penny from my parents from the age of 18-19 and I
have been supporting myself, I was modelling, making my own money. This was
also very new territory for me, I was very clueless, I was very under
confident.” She continued saying, “I didn’t know what I was doing. I didn’t
know how to go about it. But there is a certain vision one has for
themselves. I had that vision and I stuck by my beliefs.”
The actress further added that “So, I never really tried to short sell
myself, that’s one thing I was very certain about from day one. There has
been a financial crunch and all, I am not very privileged where I come from
an extremely affluent family. My family has gone through ups and downs as
well, and I am proud that I have been able to make things work for myself,
single-handedly.”
Talking about the gap between the films, she said, “Sometimes things come
to you easy and sometimes they take time and I had chosen to wait back, sit
back and let the right films come to me. A lot of films were offered to me.
I am aware that there was a lull period between ‘Befikre’ and ‘War’, but
it’s not like I didn’t get work, I did get a lot of work but those offers
were not giving me anything, in terms of, I did not get the satisfaction.”
She concluded her statement.
‘Tum Aaogey’ song release:
A new song titled ‘Tum Aaogey’ from the movie is out recently. Vaani Kapoor
shared it on her Instagram. Her caption read as “When a ray of hope turns
into reality… #TumAaogey is an ode to that hope.”
There is no doubt that Vaani Kapoor has come a long way entertaining the
audience with her talent and beauty. The actress’s recent film ‘War’ was a
blockbuster that starred Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. Vaani will
appear in Bell Bottom releasing on 19th August 2021.
