Bhumi Pednekar has been confirmed to work together with talented actor
Rajkummar Rao. The film is titled ‘Bheed’ and directed by Anubhav Sinha, who
earlier received appreciation with movies like Mulk, Article 15, and Thappad.
Bhumi and Rajkummar Rao worked in Badhaai Do which has completed the shooting
and is yet to be released.
Bhumi Pednekar took to Instagram to announce this news with her fans and also
showed her excitement to work with Rajkummar Rao. She posted a picture of her
and Rajkummar Rao in the Insta-stories and wrote “I finally get to collabrate
with a filmmaker I really admire @Anubhavsinhaa:) Extremely excited to be
joining hands with Rajkummar Rao, Tseriesfilms for a story that needs to be
told #Bheed.”.
Bheed is a socio-political drama and the shooting of the film is to start from
this November. Director Anubhav Sinha recently wrapped the shooting for Anek
starring Ayushman Khuranna and currently looking for locations in Lucknow.
Bheed is jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar and Anubhav Sinha. On the other
side, Rajkummar Rao will be seen in the upcoming film Hum Do Hamare Do
opposite Kriti Sanon. The film also has Paresh Rawal and Ratna Pathak Shah in
the major roles.
Rajkummar Rao also expressed his joy working with Bhumi by taking it to his
Instagram story. He wrote, “Super exicted to share screen with Bhumi Pednekar
for the socio-political drama #Bheed. Her commitment towards her craft is
second to none and I’m looking forward to starting this journey with her”.
On the other side, Bhumi Pednekar dropped gorgeous pictures of her from the
recent photoshoot on her Instagram profile. She donned a beautiful brown
lehenga. She is giving perfect desi girl vibes as she completed her look with
a choker, earrings and bracelets. The diva looked stunning in every bit.
Talking about her work, Bhumi Pednekar last featured in Durgamati which didn’t
do well at the Box office. She will be next seen in Badhaai Do, Mr Lele,
Raksha Bandhan which have completed the shooting and will be released soon.
Apart from this, she has Bheed and Bhakshak in the pipeline.
