Akshay Kumar’s much-awaited movie Sooryavanshi was released on November 5th.
Though the film shoot was completed in November 2019, due to the pandemic, the
makers had to postpone its release. Now, with the release of Sooryavanshi, the
audience are back to the theatres as the movie is receiving a good response
from its very first show. The movie was released amid great fanfare and
collected 26.29 cr on its first day and by the weekend, it managed to collect
77.08 cr at the box office. On Tuesday, the film earned 11.22 crores making
the overall collection to ₹ 102.81 crores.
Sooryavanshi marks Rohit Shetty’s 9th movie to cross the 100cr club. Its also
doing well in the overseas market as the 5-DAY total reaches ₹ 31 Cr. Over the
years, Rohit Shetty has expanded his Cop Universe and continues to entertain
the audience with his trademark action sequences.

Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn’s Singham series was a massive blockbuster and
fans were waiting for the third instalment for quite some time now. As per the
latest reports, there is a buzz that the Singham 3 would be made against the
backdrop of Article 370 in Kashmir. Also, the shooting will take place in the
real locations of Kashmir. The makers have thought to make this third
instalment not just powerful but also based on real incidents. References from
the true events will be taken and how the abrogation of article 370 has shaken
the terror outfits. It is also said, that the makers are planning to take the
film on floors by September next year. “It’s going to be an Independence Day
2023 release on the big screen. Like always, Shetty will shoot the film in a
quick span at Kashmir, Delhi and Goa”, sources stated.
Singham 3 will be the most massive of Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe. “Singham is
the most impactful character for Rohit Shetty and he wants to take things a
notch higher with Singham 3. He is closely working on not just the script, but
also designing realistic big scale action. Get set for the biggest and best
cop universe film with Singham 3.”. The movie will show Akshay Kumar and
Ranveer Singh making their climactic appearance just as Ajay Devgn and Ranveer
Singh did for Sooryavanshi.
