Prashanth Neel’s KGF Chapter 2 which is released on 14th April 2022 has
received massive openings not just in the south but also shattered all the
existing records in Hindi too. On its opening day, the Hindi version collected
53.95Cr making it the highest day 1 grosser for any Hindi film. Though the
film opened with mixed opinions, it continued to attract footfalls in the mass
circuits and achieved many milestones.
The first-weekend collection of Yash starrer is about Rs 551.83 Cr as per the
trusted sources. This feat is achieved in just 4 days from its release. So
far, the Hindi version has collected 193.99 cr for the opening weekend
surpassing RRR’s Rs. 75.57 cr mark. It is expected to cross the 200 mark on
Monday.
In Karnataka, it has made Rs 80.50 Cr, TG/AP around Rs 78.50 Cr, Tamil Nadu Rs
30 Cr and Kerala Rs 27.50 Cr. With this, it became the highest opening weekend
grosser in Karnataka, Hindi, and Kerala. It is the first Sandalwood film to
cross the 500Cr mark. Also, KGF 2 has debuted at Number 2 at Global

KGF 2 is the sequel to the KGF Chapter 1. It has Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Sanjay
Dutt, and Raveena Tandon in the major roles. Directed by Prashanth Neel under
Hombale films. Prashanth Neel’s next is with Prabhas and the movie titled
‘Salaar’. It also has Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and Jagapathi Babu
in major roles and under the same production house which made KGF series.
