‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ actress Shraddha Kapoor, who is ready and excited for her upcoming film which is based on the life of an Indian shuttle player Saina Nehwal. The athlete who won the bronze for India in 2012 London Olympics Games. Shraddha while addressing the media on the sets of her upcoming film along with, director Amol Gupte, producer Bhushan Kumar and Saina Nehwal’s parents, Dr.Harvir Singh Nehwal and Usha Rani Nehwal on Tuesday in Mumbai.
Expressing her feelings during films shoot, Shraddha said; “Saina’s parents gave lots of love to me and they treated me like a family when I visited their home. so, I felt really nice to see them here”.
When Saina’s parents came here to visit us, then it felt like my parents have visited on my film sets” she said. “I feel lucky to be part of this film and to be seated along with these respected people” she added.
“We are making lots of preparation for this film and we are doing it for a long time. It’s a biopic so I am putting all my efforts to be in my best form and it feels good to finally start off the film” she said.
Shraddha Said, “I think more than breaking the record of other films, it is necessary to do good films are to be appreciated by people. I don’t think there is a need for any comparison.”
During the interview, she also explains that how much she is excited to play the role of a respected athlete. And she is expecting to people should appreciate that biopic without any comparison to other films.
Shraddha received a letter from the makers of Saina Nehwal Biopic post the mahurat shot. The letter read, “Our Dear Daughter Shraddha(Means faith) साईं को याद करते हुए हम तुम्हारा नाम… (Saina) रखते हैं… Let this journey be the most memorable for you… Dearest Baccha – We Love You”
On upcoming projects, she will be seen in the film ‘Saaho’ opposite south superstar Prabhas which will be released next year.
