Khiladi Akshay Kumar unlike any other actor in Bollywood has back to back
films in the pipeline. His recent film Laxxmi, a horror-comedy released on
Hotstar and got mixed reactions from the audience. Recently, Akshay Kumar
shared the first picture of his upcoming film ‘Atrangi Re’ on his Instagram
account. He joined the sets of the Atrangi Re with the co-star Sara Ali Khan.
Atrangi Re film was announced by the makers at the end of the 2019 but due to
the lockdown and the pandemic effect led the makers to hold the shooting.
However, the director Aanand L Rai resumed the shooting a few days ago. This
is the first time Akshay Kumar, Aanand L Rai and Sara Ali Khan are working on
the project. The film background is given by AR Rahman, and Bhushan Kumar
producing the film under the Banner ‘T Series’. Akshay Kumar shared a first
picture in which he is seen with Sara Ali Khan in a middle-class look. Akshay
Kumar captioned this film as “The joy brought by those three magic words is

The leading lady of the film Sara Ali Khan also posted a picture and she talks
about the film during an interview with a leading daily. She said “I was
shooting for the second schedule of Atrangi Re. I’m now sitting in a room
where people are wearing masks, suits and gloves. It’s a little strange. It
was the same onset, with my director in a mask and gloves. It was different.
But the passion and excitement with which everybody in the film fraternity
comes to set has not changed. The enthusiasm which binds us all is still
there. So it really felt like I never left “.
On the other hand, Sara Ali Khan’s next film is Coolie No 1 alongside Varun
Dhawan. The film will be released on 25 December 2020. Akshay Kumar kick
starts his upcoming other films Prithviraj Chauhan and Bachchan Panday. His
upcoming film Sooriyavanshi will hit theatres early next year.
