The covid 19 and the lockdown made the theatres closed and shootings are
stopped. This scenario led many big-budget movies being kept on hold which
featured A-listed star actors in those films. It includes RRR directed by SS
Rajamouli and lead by Ram Charan and Jr.NTR. While the darling Prabhas has
back to back movies to be released in theatres. It includes Adipurush, an epic
drama that also stars Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon. Its a concept based on
the theme of Ramayana.
Another big project Draupadi, has big names including Deepika Padukone,
Hrithik Roshan and Mahesh Babu in main roles. While the third film is going to
be retelling the story of Ramayana titled ‘Sita’. As per the new reports, the
makers of the Sita approached the energetic star Ranveer Singh to play the
Raavan in the film. While Kareena Kapoor Khan and Alia Bhatt are in the front
row to play the goddess Sita in the film. The sources confirmed that “Sita
will be mounted on a huge scale and the magnitude of the film will be as big
as Baahubali. While it’s a toss-up between Kareena and Alia for the main role,
the makers(director Alaukik Desai) have approached Ranveer Singh to play
Raavan. Yes, if this happens, it might be the first-ever film that Ranveer and
Kareena will be doing together. They were supposed to do Ram Leela but it
didn’t work out. From what we know, both Bebo and Ranveer have loved their
parts and are waiting for the final narration to give a go-ahead to the
project”.
Sita is the project written by the Baahubali Fame KV Vijayendra Prasad. It is
going to be directed by Aluakik Desai. However, many things regarding the
project are yet to be locked. But if things go in favour of Ranveer Singh,
then it’s going to be another career big project for him.
