Pawan Kalyan Wants Tamil Cinema To Make A Movie Like 'RRR' But Has This Suggestion; Everything You Need To Know About The Controversial New Rules For Tamil Movies.

Tollywood Actor Pawan Kalyan graced the pre-release event of his upcoming
film “Bro: The Avatar”. Talking at the event, Power Star showered praises on
the film director Samuthirakani (who is a Tamilian by birth) for his efforts
to learn Telugu. He also spoke about the importance of learning the mother
tongue and encouraged Telugu people to improve their command over the Telugu
language. He also promised the director that he will learn Tamil in future and deliver a speech in Tamil.

Pawan Kalyan Speech At Bro Pre-Release Event:

Continuing his speech, Pawan Kalyan wished that Tamil Cinema would deliver
a movie like RRR which gained global recognition and also won an Oscar for
Best Original Song. He requested that Tamil Cinema to employ artists from
other languages and break the regional barriers. He gave examples of Tamil movies like Roja, Gentleman broke the
language barrier and became huge Blockbusters in Telugu as well. Tamil cinemas which delivered such great films had crossed the reigional barriers back then should rethink about their deicision of not employing artists outside Tamil industry. He hoped that Tamil Cinema can deliver films like RRR.

Many movie lovers from Tamil Cinema have supported the actor’s suggestion.
However, it didn’t go well with some as they started countering the actor
by mentioning recent movies which were made by Telugu producers and some
Technicians too. But, news instantly went viral on the Internet about the
new rules for Tamil Cinema laid by FEFSI – Film Employees Federation of
South India.

FEFSI new rules for Tamil Cinema:

Here are the new rules laid by FEFSI for all Tamil movies:

  1. Only Tamil Artists Should be Employed for Tamil Films.
  2. Shootings should happen in Tamil Nadu only.
  3. Shoots should not take place in an outside state or outside country
    without utmost necessity.
  4. If the shoot doesn’t complete on time or goes out of budget, written
communication is to be made to producers with appropriate reasons.

Now, it has been cleared that Pawan Kalyan has been talking about these new
rules which allow the cast of Tamil actors only in Tamil Cinema.

Other Opinions On FEFSI Rules:

For decades, Malayali actors have been an important part of Tamil Cinema.
Notable Malayali director Vinayan who made films in Tamil too has taken to
his Facebook to voice out his opinion. “While we see India as a single
nation, Tamil Nadu film associations are headed in the direction of a highly
localised decision in a place where it is believed that all Indians are
brothers and sisters. This news has been out for a while but we have not
seen the Tamil Nadu government opposing the decision.

He further added, “My opinion is that the producers, theatre owners and
distributors of Malayalam cinema should be ready as soon as possible to give
a strong reply”.
