Last year, the news made rounds in the film industry that Superstar Mahesh
Babu is part of the magnum opus Ramayana 3D. The Maharshi actor has to play
the role of Lord Ram in a big-budget Pan-India movie. However, as per the
latest development, it looks like Mahesh Babu walks out of this project and
the reason behind his decision is RRR director SS Rajamouli.
Ramayana 3D is led by Hrithik Roshan as Ravana and Deepika Padukone as Goddess
Sita. As per the sources, makers are planning to start the filming in
mid-2022. During this period, Mahesh Babu is having a hectic schedule because
of the forthcoming untitled directorial venture of SS Rajamouli. This is the
first collaboration between them which fans awaiting for a long time. Mahesh
Babu wants to do the project of SS Rajamouli over Ramayana 3D. This is the
reason Mahesh Babu has backed out from Ramayana 3D. Now the makers are
searching for another actor to play Lord Ram. This film is written and
bankrolled by Madhu Mantena and directed by Nitish Tiwari.
On Saturday, Mahesh babu’s brother Ramesh babu has passed away at 56. Earlier, the superstar tested positive for covid and unable to attend the last rites of his brother.
On the work front, Mahesh Babu is currently working on his most awaited film Sarkaru Vaari Paata,
helmed by Parasuram and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, 14 Reels Plus and G.
Mahesh Babu Entertainment. Keerthy Suresh to share the screen opposite him. It
will be releasing in theatres on 1st April 2022.
