OTT platforms have become the best way of entertainment to enjoy the latest
films and web series sitting inside the four walls. It also became a way to curb
the pandemic and avoid going outside. June has witnessed some of the big hits on
OTT including The Family Man 2, Sherni and Skater girl. It seems like July is
also filled with lots of entertainment as Bollywood’s upcoming projects set to
release on OTT platforms include Toofan, Haseen Dilruba, Hungama 2, Collar Bomb
and Feel Like Ishq.
Toofaan:
A sports drama starring Farhan Akhtar, Mrunal Thakur and Paresh Rawal. It
is directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, who is best known for directing
‘Rang De Basanti’ and ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’. Farhan Akhtar made a massive
body transformation for this movie and ready to inspire us as ‘Boxer’.
Earlier, the film slated to release in October 2020. However, due to a
pandemic, the release got postponed. Now, this film will start streaming on
Amazon Prime Video on July 16th, 2021.
Haseen Dillruba:
This is a story that presents Love, Anger and Lust. It is a mystery thriller
directed by Vinil Mathew and bankrolled by Aanand L Rai featuring Vikrant
Massey, Taapsee Pannu and Harshvardhan Rane in prominent roles. Streaming
starts from 2nd July 2021, Platform Netflix.
Hungama 2:
A hilarious drama by Priyadarshan is all set to premiere exclusively on
Disney+ Hotstar from 23rd July 2021. It has a talented cast of Shilpa
Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Meezaan Jaaferi and Pranitha Subhash in the lead
roles.
Collar Bomb:
A thriller drama featuring Jimmy Shergill in a police officer role and has
the television face ‘Asha Negi’ as the leading lady in the film. The actors
have a lot to offer for the moviegoers through this action entertainer. It
will stream on 9th July 2021 on Disney+ Hotstar.
Feels Like Ishq:
This Anthology drama consists of 6 love stories directed by 6 different
directors. It has a huge star cast of Radhika Madan, Rohit Saraf, Tanya
Maniktala, Amol Parashar, Neeraj Madhav, Simran Jehani, Zayn Marie Khan,
Saba Azad, Mihir Ahuja and others in Feels Like Ishq, it will be streaming
on 23rd July, Only on Netflix.
