Priyanka Chopra recently launched her most awaited Unfinished Memoir. In this,
she talked about the story of the girl from a small town to a Hollywood
league. This memoir was launched on Tuesday. In this, she wrote about the
patriarchy and favouritism that existed in Bollywood. She also talked about
the various demeaning experiences in the films when she started her acting
career. This memoir launched to break the wait of Fanfare.
According to Zoom, the international icon Priyanka Chopra wrote about an
incident which she faced during the filming of the seductive song which
required the stripping of clothes. Priyanka Chopra told “The director
suggested I speak to my stylist, so I called him and briefly explained the
situation, then passed the phone to the director. Standing right in front of
me, the director said: “Jo bhi ho, chaddiyan dikhni chahiyen. Nahi toh log
picture kyon dekhne aayenge?” It is in hindi, which translates as
(whatever happens, panties should be seen. Otherwise, why would people come to
watch the movie?).
After this incident the next day Priyanka Chopra quit the project she wrote as
“I was ready to go full-out as a temptress in the number. The director’s words
and tone, though, conveyed that he regarded me in a way that I found
unacceptable”. After that, the director paid a visit to another film set of
Priyanka Chopra where she was shooting with the agitated state. Later Salman
Khan who was a co-star of Priyanka Chopra intervened in that matter.
Priyanka Chopra recently made her appearance in The White Tiger. She will be
